The
chassis as it came to me, had been primered after assembly. The
construction is a little crude and it was beginning to rust.

After
disassembly each part was primered and painted black.
|
|
|
|
|
|
During
mock up, we decided to modify the steering configuration. The
steering shaft separated to allow the body to be lifted. The wheels
are two piece plates that bolt together. The tubes and tires are
all in good shape.

This rugged
fiberglass '41 Willys ride-on go kart has a 2 1/2 hp Briggs
and Stratton engine, a new centrifugal clutch, new throttle
and new brake front to back. The body needs to be finished but
it's ready to ride as is.
