This is a 1977 Harley Davidson XLH Sportster. The 1000cc engine was upgraded and rebuilt and has 12,002 miles on it. This Sportster was originally Silver, indicating it was built as one of 299 XLH Confederate Edition. |
| It is now the same silver color, however, it now has a 4.1 gal. fat-bob style gas tank, a shortie front fender, and a custom seat. It now has an alternator instead of the generator, the battery and tires/tubes are approx. 1 year old. The oil has been changed every 1500 miles with Castrol GTX 20W50. New brakes and the rear-shocks (PROGRESSIVE SUSPENSION adjustable type) were installed approx. 3,000 miles ago. The chain is an "O-Ring" type. | |
