This beautiful 1969 Chevelle SS has just undergone a two and a half year restoration, creating a very fine example of American muscle. |
|
In '69 Chevrolet planned to call this Chevelle the "King of the Road" and for good reason. The clean lines and high performance make it one of the most desirable muscle cars to own. |

Powered by a Chevy Big Block with a radical cam and Holley double pumper, this classic will get your heart racing. The steady thump of the cam announces the power under the ghost stripes. |
| Roller rockers deliver a smooth power curve to get the most out of this big V-8. The exhaust now starts in a set of new powder coated headers. | |
| To keep you cool in this hot rod, the new Vintage Air system features a chrome compressor with the hoses all well concealed. | |
| A chrome radiator top brace has replaced the original and both top and bottom hoses are clad with chrome for a cool look as well as a cool engine. | |
| A wide serpentine belt system is mounted with billet brackets and pulleys, to spin the chrome alternator and compressor. The new power steering reservoir is joined by the addition of a brake vacuum reservoir with gauge. | |
| A new power assist unit has also been installed behind the master cylinder. The MSD coil and ignition units mounted on the firewall have been routed and loomed for a very clean look. New plug wires are positioned with billet stand offs to deliver the spark. | |
| This is a real drivers car, featuring a sport steering wheel that allows a good view of the gauges and center mount factory tachometer. The 400 transmission is controlled by a long floor mount shifter for easy reach. All that horsepower is delivered to the stylish wheels by a 3:08 twelve bolt rear end and made steady by stabilizer bars front and rear. | |
| Both front and back bench seats are roomy and comfortable with new carpeting underneath and sound barrier installed behind the rear bench. | |
| A new Kenwood stereo feeds an amplifier concealed by a custom panel in the trunk, drives two small speakers mounted in the original dashboard space and two 6 by 9's in the rear package tray. A new mat covers the freshly painted trunk. | |
